Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide. This role can be remote or based full-time in our office in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• Seven years of labor compliance experience in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws.
• Familiarity with construction contract types and language as it relates to labor compliance.
• Ability to interpret government regulations and apply to the company’s business.
• Keeping current on industry labor compliance issues.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead labor compliance program and oversee the compliance group.
• Coordinate periodic internal audits of labor procedures.
• Monitor laws and regulations affecting labor compliance and recommend changes.
• Investigate reported compliance issues with leadership and SI departments.
• Engage in third-party/government reviews and training initiatives.
• Participate in external training and industry groups to stay current.
• Develop and deliver labor compliance training.
• Assist with external audits and inquiries.
