The firm represents employees throughout California in cases related to Labor Code violations, both on an individual and class-wide basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for employee rights, with a strong background in labor and employment law. Duties
  • Represent clients in court, handling labor and employment-related legal matters.
  • Prepare, draft, and review legal documents such as complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Perform administrative and case management functions related to legal practice.
  • Propound and respond to written discovery, ensuring compliance with deadlines and legal requirements.
  • Review written discovery and draft meet-and-confer letters to facilitate information exchange.
  • Advise clients on legal matters, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Collaborate with team members to strategize and develop case approaches.
Requirements
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize demands.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • In-depth knowledge of the California Civil Discovery Act and relevant labor and employment laws.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective legal strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with professionalism and empathy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including legal drafting.
Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
