Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant to provide venipuncture and clinical support while ensuring a superb patient experience at the Boston Seaport office. You’ll be the first contact for patients and help with lab-related tasks, while handling front-d desk duties and administrative support.

You will work as part of a collaborative team, using a flexible approach to respond to patient and provider needs.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside training/externship.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions for a positive in-office experience.
• Provide venipuncture services across age ranges (pediatrics–geriatrics).
• Perform extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines).
• Label, handle, and process specimens with proper inventory and sterilization.
• Handle patient messages and assist providers with clerical duties.
• Manage front-of-house tasks: check-in/out and insurance verification.
• Contribute to team through huddles and problem solving.
• Open/close duties; maintain office appearance and restock supplies.
• Master Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, and EMR systems.
