Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to deliver exceptional patient experiences through venipuncture and comprehensive clinical support. You will be the first contact for patients, assist multiple Boston-area offices, and help ensure a brand-consistent, welcoming environment.

You will work with front desk and lab teams, deliver patient-friendly care, and support providers with clerical duties while maintaining office standards and using our tech stack like Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, and

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to establish relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems and computers.
• Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams; remote teams a plus.
• Able to stay confident, empathetic and patient during collection.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid in-office experience.
• Provide venipuncture services across age groups per office location.
• Perform and assist with extended duties: non-blood collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines, and swabs.
• Maintain proper specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory, and sterilization.
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers and admin with clerical tasks.
• Handle front-of-house duties: check-in/out, insurance verification, paperwork.
• Support team development through rounds, huddles, and ad hoc requests.
• Open/close the office, maintain spaces, restock supplies, and organize.
