Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an STS Lab Service Manager (Assistant Director level) to own the lab's priorities, budget, and operating cadence. You will define the service portfolio, manage intake and prioritization, shape the roadmap, and fund governance while serving as the escalation point for leadership.

You will work with IAM, Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, and Zscaler to ensure the lab operates as a well-governed engineering platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Product Management, Program Management, or Security Engineering leadership roles.
• Demonstrated experience as a single accountable owner for a technology service, platform, or engineering program.
• Proven ability to design and manage intake and prioritization processes in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Strong financial governance skills: budget tracking, cost allocation, funding requests, variance reporting.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting and dashboards on service health, roadmap status, and financial performance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and subscription cost management.
• Experience operating in a large, global, matrixed organization.
• Excellent documentation skills; ability to produce governance artifacts and decision logs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the product owner for the STS Lab service catalog and define scope, status, and value for stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end intake process for lab requests and apply prioritization frameworks to align demand with capacity.
• Develop and maintain the STS Lab roadmap across engineering, tooling, and operations.
• Own the lab's budget: track spend, allocate costs, prepare funding requests, report financial health.
• Design and deliver regular reporting on lab performance, service delivery, and roadmap progress.
• Serve as the primary escalation path for lab issues and blockers.
• Establish and own the lab's operating cadence: stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and stakeholder briefings.
• Coordinate with vendors during evaluations and POC phases; manage SLAs and contractual obligations.
• Build relationships with IAM, Defender/Sentinel, Purview, and Endpoint Security SMEs to meet lab needs.
• Ensure governance and compliance with EY standards and change management.
