Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Quality Control Analyst for its Knoxville plant. You will perform qualification testing on raw materials and finished products, record QC data in SAP, and issue certificates of analysis.

The role requires working 12-hour rotating shifts and maintaining equipment in control while training peers. Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with additional science/engineering credentials or relevant lab experience, and legal work eligibility in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one of the listed science/engineering qualifications.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• US work eligibility; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final and finished samples.
• Test according to written test methods and record QC data in SAP and lab requests.
• Issue certificates/letters of analysis and maintain equipment in control.
• Provide quality training and back-up support to other analysts.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, test methods, and procedures; participate in corrective actions.
• Maintain lab housekeeping, order supplies and monitor safety and alarms.
