Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Analyst at the Knoxville, TN plant. You will perform laboratory testing on materials and finished products, enter data into QC systems, and prepare analysis certificates. The role requires adherence to safety and quality standards with rotating, 12-hour shifts.

You will back up colleagues, train others, and troubleshoot instrumentation while supporting continuous improvement and accuracy in records and reports.

Qualifications

• Qualified to perform lab testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products using standard methods.
• Experience recording data in QC databases and preparing certificates of analysis.
• Ability to identify non-conforming material and implement corrective actions.
• Comfort with working 12-hour rotating shifts and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final, and special samples.
• Operate test methods and record QC data on SAP worksheets and laboratory requests.
• Issue certificates/letters of analysis and ensure equipment is in control.
• Provide quality training to teammates and back-up other analysts as needed.
• Troubleshoot lab instrumentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
