Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Sun City, AZ, is seeking an operational supervisor for the lab division. You will organize, direct, and improve workflow to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services under the director/manager, with focus on process enhancements and patient care.

The role requires CAP, CMS, AABB, CLIA, and OSHA compliance, plus leadership, budgeting and staff development using Six Sigma and Lean methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Four years’ training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, evaluates, and supervises staff workflow.
• Schedules labor within budget and supports cost reduction.
• Ensures CAP, CMS, AABB, CLIA, FDA licensing, and OSHA compliance.
• Leads task forces to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Maintains effective communication within the organization and with partners.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology

Four (4) years’ training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty
