Job summary

Laboratory Sciences of Arizona seeks a technically proficient leader to supervise evening-shift operations, ensure QA/compliance, and drive department projects. This role oversees staffing, schedules, and day-to-day workflow with input into disciplinary actions as needed.

You will implement system initiatives, monitor quality controls, and support cost analysis while guiding staff development and cross‑functional collaboration. A strong background in MLS/medical lab science is required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree with required laboratory training/experience.
• Foreign credentials evaluation may be required for eligibility.
• Certification requirements may apply for some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of MLT/MLS with high competency and oversee workflow on shift.
• Ensure quality control, QA procedures, and compliance with accrediting agencies.
• Monitor costs, inventory, and process improvements in the department.
• Assist with staff training, competency, and two annual projects in the department.
