Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Sun City, Arizona, is seeking a Technical Coordinator I/II for the Lab-Boswell team on the Evening shift. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge applied to department testing, clinical relevance, and complex problem-solving while ensuring compliance with CLIA ’88, JCAHO, CAP and OSHA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a medical laboratory technology, medical laboratory science or clinical laboratory science with four years of laboratory training or experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science with two years of laboratory training or experience.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation from IERF or recognized agency.
• Some specialties require bachelor’s degree with two years of experience when no certification exists.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day workflow and staff on the evening shift, ensuring high competency in department testing.
• Ensure quality control and QA procedures are followed; maintain compliance with accrediting standards.
• Participate in accreditation readiness and implementation of system initiatives.
• Lead small projects and supervise in the absence of the section supervisor.
