Randstad USA is seeking an experienced IT professional for a Lab IT Services Engineer role in San Diego, CA on an 18-month onsite contract. You will deliver hands-on technology support in a state-of-the-art biomedical research center, ensuring seamless system integration and software configuration to power critical scientific discovery.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
5+ years of Windows troubleshooting and support (Win10/Win11).
Biotech/biopharma experience with scientific instruments and vendor apps.

Responsibilities

Onboard, configure, and secure PCs/workstations per guidelines.
Collaborate with scientists to identify informatics needs and optimize data flow.
Manage lab equipment integration with instruments like mass specs and sequencers.
Provide IT expertise during planning, definition, and rollout of lab IT projects.
Resolve tickets using endpoint management systems with high service standards.
