Natera in Austin, TX is hiring an Equipment Associate to service and support lab instruments in our R&D facility. You will install, calibrate, maintain and document activities, acting as the main contact for safe equipment operation and coordinating with QA, vendors, and R&D teams.

Ideal candidates have a biomedical engineering or biological sciences background, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in biomedical engineering, biological sciences or related fields.
• Industry-related experience, especially in supporting lab equipment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and/or perform instrument installations and qualifications per equipment protocols.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system concerns to minimize downtime.
• Communicate with vendors to schedule PMs, calibrations, repairs, and other services.
• Maintain PM/calibration programs to keep equipment fit for purpose.
• Prepare equipment SOPs and support Quality Management System.
