Job summary

EY Life Sciences Transformation is seeking a Manager to lead laboratory transformation initiatives for Life Sciences clients across R&D, QC, and manufacturing. You will drive digital laboratory modernization, LIMS implementations, and process redesign, serving as a primary client contact and guiding cross-functional teams.

You’ll collaborate with regulatory and validation SMEs to ensure compliant, scalable lab solutions, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, CS or related field
• 5+ years in Life Sciences with lab ops or lab systems
• 3+ years leading project workstreams in consulting or industry
• Hands-on with laboratory systems (LIMS, ELN, LES) and/or lab data platforms
• Foundational knowledge of validation and data integrity

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory transformation workstreams, including digital lab modernization, LIMS implementations, and lab operating model redesign across R&D, QC, and manufacturing labs
• Translate client objectives into detailed delivery plans and roadmaps for lab operations and technology enablement
• Manage day-to-day delivery across lab-focused workstreams, ensuring timelines and quality
• Integrate quality, regulatory, and computer systems validation considerations with SMEs
• Serve as primary client contact at manager/director level, facilitate sessions and issue resolution
• Lead and coach consultants and senior consultants, providing direction and feedback
• Support business development and account activities, including proposals and client presentations
