Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Consultant for Digital Lab Transformation within Life Sciences. You will design operating models for digital labs, lead lab systems implementations (LIMS/ELN), and drive risk-aware, compliant processes for clients in biotechnology, pharma, and medical device sectors.

The role requires deep technical capability, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex programs with diverse teams. Travel up to 70% is possible depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Biomedical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• 3+ years of Life Sciences work experience including regulatory statutes, GxP, or compliance programs.
• 3-5 years experience with LIMS/ELN systems and lab automation.
• Programming ability (Python, LabWare LIMS Basic, SQL).
• Experience with lab integration (file/API) and enterprise systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver processes and projects with focus on quality and risk management.
• Guide teams, drive continuous improvement, and meet performance objectives.
• Travel up to 70% may be required for client engagements.
• Design operating models for digital labs and data strategies as part of Digital Lab Transformation.
• Lead technical solution designs and conversations with Life Sciences clients.
• Oversee program management activities related to Digital Lab Transformations and client communications.
