Job summary

EY is seeking a Life Sciences Risk Consulting Manager to lead laboratory transformation initiatives for Life Sciences clients across R&D, quality control, and manufacturing. You will drive digital laboratory modernization, LIMS implementations, and process redesign while aligning with regulatory and validation requirements.

You will manage day-to-day delivery, engage as the primary client contact at senior levels, and mentor consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Life Sciences experience, with emphasis on laboratory operations, lab systems, or lab transformation initiatives.
• 3+ years leading project workstreams or components of larger programs in consulting or industry.
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN, LES) and/or lab data and integration platforms.
• Foundational knowledge of computer systems validation, data integrity, and regulatory expectations for laboratory environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading laboratory transformation workstreams, including digital lab modernization, LIMS implementations, and lab operating model redesign across R&D, QC, and manufacturing labs.
• Translating client objectives into delivery plans, requirements, and roadmaps focused on laboratory operations and technology enablement.
• Managing day‑to‑day delivery across lab-focused workstreams, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality.
• Integrating quality, regulatory, and computer systems validation considerations into laboratory solutions with SMEs.
• Serving as a primary client contact at manager/director level, facilitating sessions and issue resolution.
• Leading and coaching consultants and junior staff, providing direction and development support.
• Supporting business development, including proposals and client presentations.
