Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Life Sciences Risk Consulting to lead laboratory transformation initiatives across R&D, QC and manufacturing labs, focusing on digital enablement, operating model redesign and system implementations. You will serve as a daily client contact with a laboratory-first approach, embedding quality and validation considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in Life Sciences with focus on lab operations or lab transformation.
• 3+ years leading project workstreams in consulting or industry.
• Hands-on with LIMS/ELN/LES and lab data integration platforms.
• Foundational knowledge of validation, data integrity and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory transformation workstreams including digital lab modernization and LIMS implementations.
• Translate client objectives into delivery plans and execution roadmaps for lab operations.
• Manage day-to-day delivery across lab workstreams ensuring timelines and quality.
• Incorporate quality, regulatory and computer systems validation in lab solutions.
• Act as primary client contact at manager/director level and guide junior staff.
• Support business development with proposals, client presentations, and offerings.
• Collaborate across R&D, QC, and manufacturing labs to drive value.
