Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Windows Desktop Support Analyst (Lab Computing Analyst) for a role located in West Point, PA. This assignment involves providing professional-level technical support for data center operations and desktop/workstation issues.

Responsibilities include installing and troubleshooting server hardware and software, maintaining data integrity, monitoring performance, and communicating complex information to both technical and non-technical staff.

Qualifications

Desktop Support / Windows Systems Support with minimum 2+ yearsof experience
2+ years of technical experience including Windows technologies including Microsoft Office, basic networking, remote computing and backup systems
Experience with scientific instrumentation, Life Science environment, validated environment, GMP/ISO/FDA compliant facilities is a plus

Responsibilities

Provides non-routine technical support for computer/data center operations
Installs, configures and troubleshoots server and non-desktop computer hardware, software, systems in a data center or centralized network
Maintains access control, data integrity and file system security for the environment
Monitors, tracks and records system performance and utilization metrics
Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel
Recommends hardware and software solutions to improve efficiency
May participate in IT and infrastructure projects
May be internal or external, client-focused with Professional Services and outsourcing teams
May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions
