Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a Laboratory Client Services Representative (Lab CSR) in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on resolving client concerns, assisting in laboratory clerical operations, and ensuring high-quality service to our Care Center partners and patients.

The position emphasizes problem-solving, empathy, and clear communication. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm with a hybrid model (onsite 3 days/week and rotating Fridays).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical/lab experience is preferred and coursework in the sciences.
• Knowledge of specimen handling and collection requirements, general laboratory workflow and basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Handle Care Center inquiries by telephone and portal, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Triage concerns based on laboratory protocol.
• Report laboratory results to Clients using established protocols and maintain records.
• Provide information on collection requirements for laboratory testing.
• Operate information systems for data entry, billing, and client interaction.
• Create and distribute reports from AthenaNet and VitalDx for QA tracking.
• Manage onboarding for new Care Centers.
• Contact Clients to resolve routine issues related to patient specimens and reporting.
• Support laboratory administration and pathologists with clerical tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Handle inbound client calls and outbound information gathering.
• Provide reception desk coverage as needed.
