Job summary

Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a Laboratory Client Services Representative to act as a liaison, resolving client concerns with strong investigative and communication skills. The role supports internal lab clerical operations and fosters a client-focused approach.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am–4:00pm with a hybrid on-site requirement: three days per week plus rotating Fridays. The position emphasizes empathy, care center partnerships, and accurate reporting for quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Client-focused professional with strong communication and genuine empathy.
• Medical/lab experience preferred and science coursework helpful.
• Ability to triage concerns based on laboratory protocol and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Handle Care Center inquiries by telephone and portal tickets for status and service concerns.
• Triage issues according to lab protocol and escalate where needed.
• Report laboratory results to Clients using established protocols and document history.
• Provide information on specimen collection requirements for lab testing.
• Operate information systems for data entry, billing, and client interaction.
• Create and distribute reports from AthenaNet and VitalDx for QA tracking.
• Manage onboarding for new Care Centers and contact Clients to resolve routine issues.
• Support lab administration and pathologists with clerical tasks as requested.

Overview

The Laboratory Client Services Representative (Lab CSR) will work as a liaison to receive and assist in resolution of concerns of our Clients. Problem-solving and strong investigative skills are required to resolve Client concerns. The Lab CSR will also support internal laboratory clerical operations. A successful candidate must be Client focused, demonstrate strong communication skills, and genuinely empathetic to concerns of our Care Center partners and patients.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (Hybrid: Onsite 3 days per week rotating Fridays)

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for handling Care Center inquiries by telephone and by ticket created in the portal regarding status of reports, concerns of service failures and other duties to provide Client satisfaction.


• Triage concerns appropriately based upon laboratory protocol.


• Report laboratory results to Clients using established protocols, document reporting or call history, and maintain appropriate records.


• Provide information to Care Center Clients regarding collection requirements of laboratory testing.


• Assignments may include operating information systems for data entry and retrieval of data, billing and Client interaction to obtain information and provide excellent Client services.


• Create and distribute reports from AthenaNet and VitalDx for Quality Assurance tracking.


• Manage on onboarding process for new Care Centers.


• Contact Clients to resolve routine issues related to patient specimens and result reporting.


• Support laboratory administration and pathologists with clerical or administrative tasks as requested


• Understands, support, complies with company policies, procedures


• Other duties as assigned


• Handling inbound Client calls


• Calling Outbound to gather missing information


• Reception Desk Coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Medical/lab experience is preferred as well as coursework in the sciences


• Knowledge of specimen handling and collection requirements, general laboratory workflow and basic medical terminology

Compensation Minimum

USD $20.50/Hr.

Compensation Maximum

USD $25.50/Hr.
