Job summary

Tecan is seeking a Technical Services Analyst II to support customers and field engineers, troubleshooting instruments and automation software. You will coordinate remote support, gather diagnostic data, and ensure timely problem resolution across multiple teams.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to two nights per month. Training and professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 18+ months of automation, instrumentation, or technical support experience.
• Experience programming or troubleshooting Tecan instruments and software.
• Ability to provide remote and onsite technical support.
• Experience with Tecan instruments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, Sales teams, and Field Engineers via phone, email, and remote channels.
• Troubleshoot instrument and automation issues, identify root causes, and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Gather information, document issues, and support complaint management processes.
• Coordinate shipment of replacement parts and RSOs, tracking returns.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage and maintain instrument knowledge through training.
