Job summary

Tecan Austria GmbH is seeking a Field Service Applications Specialist to act as the post-sale technical expert for Liquid Handling automation platforms across the Americas. You will partner with Field Automation Engineers, Application Scientists, and customers to deliver application-based automation solutions that integrate software, hardware, and biological workflows.

You will provide advanced technical expertise from installation to troubleshooting, training, and workflow optimization, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific/engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience with laboratory automation or liquid handling systems.
• Experience developing automation applications using instrument software or programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced application support throughout the customer lifecycle for liquid handling automation.
• Design, configure, and implement application-based automation solutions.
• Train and support Field Automation Engineers and service teams.
• Collaborate with product teams to relay customer feedback and field requirements.
• Travel to support installations, training, and service activities across the Americas.
