Tecan is seeking an Assembly Technician II for an on-site role in Baldwin Park, CA. You will build, test, and service electro-mechanical instruments, following procedures and drawings, with occasional customer travel.

The position emphasizes hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and customer support to ensure instrument quality and reliability. Strong attention to detail and basic electronics experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience assembling, testing, or repairing electro-mechanical instruments.
• Familiarity with soldering components and wire assemblies.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electro-mechanical instruments per procedures.
• Follow assembly SOPs for inspection, disassembly, cleaning, packaging, and repairs.
• Solder components and wire assemblies as needed.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain instruments.
• Travel to customer sites for installation and service.
• Provide onsite training and document service reports.
