Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Sr Manager, Los Angeles Service Ops to lead elevator service, maintenance, and field operations across the Los Angeles territory. You will build and guide an experienced operations team, coordinate field resources, and drive safe, responsive service.

In this highly visible role, you will balance profitability with safety and quality, collaborate with Service Sales, and communicate effectively in customer meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years elevator industry experience in service, maintenance, repair, or field operations.
• Strong knowledge of elevator service and billable repair operations.
• Hands-on field leadership experience (superintendent/manager level).
• Ability to guide diverse field teams and motivate employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead elevator service, maintenance, and billable repair operations across the LA territory.
• Coach and develop Service Superintendents and operations staff.
• Coordinate labor, routes, scheduling, and field priorities.
• Oversee open orders, paid repairs, and equipment upgrades.
• Balance service delivery with safety, quality, and profitability.
• Partner with Service Sales and branch leadership to meet goals.
• Attend customer meetings and communicate complex information clearly.
• Improve scheduling efficiency, resource planning, and field execution.
• Utilize Salesforce and other systems to track workload and performance.
• Support field training, safety audits, and jobsite inspections.
