Job summary

The role promotes KM technology adoption, develops training materials, and advances knowledge management initiatives across the firm.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in KM or a related law firm role, JD from an ABA-accredited school, and strong experience with legal research databases

Qualifications

• Five+ years of law firm experience in KM/innovation or related field.
• Deep expertise in real estate, construction, multifamily housing, and public finance workflows.
• Experience with knowledge management tools and technologies such as databases, intranets, portals, search engines, and document management systems.
• Proven experience with legal technology, project management, and business planning.
• Proficiency in legal research databases and knowledge management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the embedded KM expert and liaison for assigned practice groups.
• Own and lead curation of knowledge artifacts in KM databases and knowledge libraries.
• Develop, implement, and assess KM strategies and systems for assigned groups.
• Create, organize, and maintain model documents, precedents, drafting guidance, and practice area resources.
• Capture and relay user feedback to improve KM tools and processes.
• Review materials to provide legal, market, and practical expertise; monitor trends and tech developments.
• Identify gaps and curate targeted attorney contributions to fill them.
