Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Knowledge Management Attorney for Real Estate to organize and develop legal content, promote KM technology adoption, and draft training materials. You will support Real Estate, Construction, MFH, and Public Finance groups by managing precedents, templates, and resources while driving innovation and efficiency across the firm.

The role requires JD, 5+ years KM/real estate experience, and strong collaboration skills to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of law firm experience in relevant practice groups or KM/innovation.
Deep expertise in workflows, priorities, and needs of real estate, construction, MFH, and public finance attorneys.
Experience with knowledge management tools and document management systems.
Proficiency in legal research databases and knowledge management platforms.

Responsibilities

Serve as the embedded KM expert and liaison for assigned practice groups.
Own and lead curation of knowledge artifacts; manage precedents and forms.
Develop and assess KM strategies and systems for assigned groups.
Create and maintain model documents, drafting guidance, and practice resources.
Capture user feedback to improve KM tools and processes; monitor developments in legal technology.
Identify gaps and curate targeted attorney contributions for KM content.
Plan and execute KM innovation projects with measurable ROI; track progress.
