Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Knowledge Management Attorney focused on Real Estate, including Construction, MFH, Public Finance, and Real Estate groups. You will organize content, promote KM tech, prepare training materials, and drive efficiency through KM solutions aligned with the firm’s goals.

The role requires a JD, active bar membership, and at least five years of law firm experience in KM/innovation or relevant practice areas, with strong knowledge of KM tools and documentation

Qualifications

• Advanced KM practice in real estate-related legal sectors.
• Experience developing and delivering KM initiatives in a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded KM expert for Real Estate practice groups.
• Own and lead curation of knowledge artifacts and precedents in KM tools.
• Develop and implement KM strategies and systems for assigned practice groups.
• Create, organize, and maintain model documents, forms, and drafting guidance.
• Capture user feedback to improve KM tools and processes.
• Review materials to stay current on legal tech and market trends.
• Identify gaps and curate attorney contributions to content.
• Plan and execute KM innovation projects with ROI tracking.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement new technologies for KM.
• Champion technology adoption and change management across the firm.
• Collaborate to identify training needs and knowledge gaps.
• Support lateral onboarding with KM resources and practices.
• Conduct knowledge succession planning and document workflows.
• Work with firm departments on KM initiatives.
• Develop training materials and online resources for KM adoption.
• Facilitate demonstrations and pilot programs to show value.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality of firm, attorney, and client information.
