Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is hiring a Kitchen Aide to support breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering. You will work across kitchen functions, from food prep to final presentation, following Opaa! recipes and the menu plan.

The role emphasizes maintaining temperatures, FIFO inventory, equipment operation with proper certification, and a strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and customer hospitality in school dining environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or up to one month of related experience.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and memos.
• Basic math for measurements and portions.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure food is held at the required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean work areas and FIFO inventory practices.
• Assist in cash handling and daily paperwork as needed.
