Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen assistant to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and support serving lines. You will participate in catering functions and perform a variety of kitchen positions according to the daily menu.

Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, assisting in food prep per recipes, operating standard equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety and HACCP protocols in a fast-paced school or cafeteria setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred; up to one month related experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure food is held at correct temperatures.
• Assist in food prep per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep inventory organized and follow FIFO for stock and coolers.
