Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a versatile kitchen helper to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and support all kitchen duties across our cafeteria operations. The role emphasizes food safety, proper temperatures, and efficient prep to meet daily menu plans.

You will work with a team to set up serving lines, handle basic baking, use slicers and mixers, and maintain clean, organized workspaces while following HACCP and HHFKA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or a short-term related experience or training.
• Ability to read simple instructions and follow menus accurately.
• Follow HACCP and HHFKA regulations for food safety and meal patterns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up serving lines; ensure correct food temperatures.
• Assist in preparing foods per menu and recipes; plan for next-day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and safety.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and dishwashing routines.
• Assist with baking and presenting foods to customers attractively.
• Replenish serving lines and stock with food, napkins, and utensils.
• Record daily production and follow timekeeping procedures.
