Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a versatile kitchen helper to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering.

You will work across all kitchen positions to ensure quality, safety, and friendly service. Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, following recipes, maintaining FIFO inventory, and cleaning to keep our dining area orderly. A High School diploma or GED is preferred; prior food-service exposure helps.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one month related experience, training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and perform basic math.
• Ability to apply HACCP and safety procedures daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep for next day’s menus.
• Operate equipment with proper certification; keep areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain FIFO inventory; keep cooler/storage racks clean and stocked.
• Prepare baked goods as required by the menu; present to customers attractively.
• Assist in cleaning kitchen and cafeteria areas and restocking items.
