Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking team members to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines in school cafeterias. You may participate in catering functions and perform all kitchen positions as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or related experience.
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions and follow recipes.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment and maintain food safety.
• Basic math skills for measurements and portions.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and FIFO inventory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and maintain correct food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders with proper certification.
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and dishwashing area.
• Handle cash register tasks and meal reconciliation as required.
• Follow HACCP and safety procedures; report unsafe conditions.
