Job summary

Opaa! is seeking staff to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering functions. You will perform all kitchen positions and help maintain daily production records.

You'll work across serving lines, stack and stock coolers, and ensure food is held at correct temperatures. The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and quality in a fast-paced environment at Opaa!'s sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple notes.
• Basic math for measurements, portions, and percentages.
• Ability to follow instructions and solve basic problems.
• Equipment list includes dishwasher, slicer, mixer, ovens, thermometers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plan and Opaa! recipes and prep ahead for next day.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain FIFO stock and clean storage areas.
• Prepare baked goods as required and present attractively to customers.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation for service lines.
• Handle customer monies and operate POS as needed; maintain accurate records.
