Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is hiring for a kitchen role focused on preparing breakfast/lunch items, assisting with serving lines, and supporting occasional catering functions.

You will perform multiple kitchen tasks, follow recipes, and ensure food safety and quality throughout the shift. Responsibilities include setting up lines, helping with prep per menu plans, operating equipment with certification, maintaining clean and organized spaces, and supporting the dishwashing area while following

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; related experience ok.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for meals and counts.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure food at required temperatures.
• Assist in prep per menu plan and prep for next day's menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean and organized; practice FIFO inventory.
• Maintain HACCP records and follow safety procedures daily.
• Assist with dishwashing area and stock cooler/storage racks; restock items.
