Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks team members to support breakfast and lunch service in school cafeterias across multiple states. You will prepare and present meals, assist serving lines, and participate in catering functions as needed.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining clean work areas, and ensuring food safety and HACCP compliance. This role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, andcustomer-focused hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; prep ahead for next day.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO stock.
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas and observe sanitation practices.
• Serve items with correct portions and attractive presentation.
• Requisition appropriate amounts of food and supplies via the Kitchen Manager.
• Batch cook to ensure quality and appealing presentation.
