Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a versatile kitchen team member to prepare breakfast and lunch, assist serving lines, and support occasional catering. You will work across all kitchen functions, maintain temperatures, and help with baking as needed.

This role emphasizes following recipes, HACCP safety, daily records, inventory, and teamwork in a fast-paced school or institutional dining setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and procedures.
• Basic math including measuring, portions, and recipe conversions.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation per menu and recipes; plan for next day’s menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (slicer, mixer, oven, etc.) with proper certification.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; practice FIFO inventory.
• Record daily production and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
