Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a Kitchen Lead to oversee daily production, prep, and station readiness in a fast-paced setting. You will monitor ingredients, ensure freshness, and maintain labeling, safety, and cleanliness across all kitchen areas.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of kitchen or restaurant experience, strong leadership, great communication, and a dependable, team-focused attitude. This on-site role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen prep to ensure readiness for operations.
• Monitor ingredients, rotation, quality and freshness.
• Maintain labeling, safety, storage and expiration guidelines.
• Uphold cleanliness across all stations, tools and equipment.
• Restock supplies and prep stations for shifts.
• Execute opening/closing procedures with proper storage.
• Record waste and manage inventory compliance.
• Keep walk-in cooler and kitchen organized for morning ops.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions and BOH/FOH collaboration.
