Job summary

goop kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Shift Lead to supervise daily kitchen operations, coach the team in real time, and uphold the Goop Certified Clean standards, stepping in wherever needed.

You will own the quality and presentation of every dish, master recipes across stations, and assist with ordering, invoices, and inventory while maintaining food safety and a fast-paced, wellness-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• 1+ year of experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• ServSafe certification (or equivalent food safety certification)
• Comfort working in a hot, fast-moving kitchen environment
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and lead kitchen staff, setting the tone for a positive and accountable shift
• Own the quality, consistency, and presentation of every dish that leaves the kitchen
• Master recipes and techniques across every station so you can train and support the team
• Assist with ordering, invoices, and inventory to help keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, holding the team accountable throughout the shift
