Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen teammate to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and support occasional catering. You will perform all kitchen positions as needed to keep service smooth and friendly.

You’ll follow menus, operate standard equipment, maintain temperatures, monitor cleanliness, and help with inventory using FIFO. This role requires teamwork and commitment to quality in a fast-paced school cafeteria environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and maintain food at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; practice FIFO to manage inventory.
• Assist in cleaning kitchen and cafeteria areas and restock items as needed.
• Assist with catering functions when required.
