Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen helper to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering. You will perform all kitchen duties as needed to support daily menus.

The role involves setting up serving lines, handling food to required temperatures, operating basic equipment, maintaining clean work stations, following HACCP and school meal regulations, and presenting food with hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training, or equivalent combination.
• Commitment to safety and sanitation in daily kitchen operations.
• Ability to follow recipes and standardized meal plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and lunch offerings and assist with serving lines.
• Assist in occasional catering functions and perform all kitchen duties as needed.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and maintain clean work areas.
• Stock milk coolers, manage inventory, and follow FIFO procedures.
• Operate basic kitchen equipment with proper certification and present food with hospitality.
