Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering functions.

You will work across essential kitchen tasks, maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure food is served at the correct temperatures. The role supports dining services across multiple states with duties ranging from batch cooking to quality presentation and hospitality for students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one-month related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurement tasks for serving portions and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and/or lunch per menu and Opaa! recipes.
• Assist in setting up serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Operate equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and dishwashing station.
• Stock coolers and restock items as needed for service.
• Assist with catering functions and customer service at serving lines.
