Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen/food service teammate to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering. You will perform all kitchen positions and help maintain high food safety standards.

The role involves setting up serving lines, batch cooking, inventory control, and fulfilling orders while presenting food attractively to students and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to one month related experience, training, or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain neat, clean work areas and FIFO stock handling.
• Clean kitchen/cafeteria areas and store dishes properly.
• Assist with bread, cakes, cookies and other baked goods per menu.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation; ensure serving lines have items and are replenished.
• Handle customer monies and operate POS as required.
