Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a part-time kitchen staff member to support daily operations in a school cafeteria setting. The role involves food preparation, serving line setup, and ensuring food is held at proper temperatures.

You will assist with recipe execution, batch cooking, and maintaining clean, organized work areas in a fast-paced environment. Training and on-the-job certification may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or up to one month related experience or training.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Experience with HACCP/food safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of serving lines and maintain correct food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Batch cook and present items to customers with quality presentation.
• Follow HACCP processes and daily food safety logs.
