Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a kitchen teammate to support daily meal preparation and service in a school cafeteria. You will help with breakfast and lunch items, set up serving lines, and ensure foods are held at required temperatures while presenting meals attractively.

Responsibilities include following menu plans and recipes, maintaining clean work areas, handling equipment safely, and participating in daily HACCP and FIFO practices to ensure quality meals for students.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup of serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Support FIFO inventory and kitchen hygiene procedures.
• Assist with baking and batch cooking as needed.
• Provide friendly service and maintain appealing food presentation.
