Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks flexible kitchen staff to support serving lines, food preparation, and daily operations as needed. Candidates should follow provided recipes, maintain proper temperatures, and assist with inventory and cleaning tasks.

Roles include assisting with setup, batch cooking, and basic cash handling at service times. Ability to stand and lift moderate weights is expected, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at the required temperature.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes, and plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and kitchen/cafeteria spaces.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and keep cooler/storage racks clean and stocked.
• Handle customer monies at service time and operate a cash register or computer.
• Submit all hours worked by clocking in and out in ADP or via time edit sheets.
• Notify DNS 24 hours in advance of inability to cover a shift; inform in emergencies.
