Job summary

Carrabba’s Italian Grill, a Bloomin Brands concept, is seeking a Restaurant Kitchen Manager to oversee daily back-of-house operations, ensure quality, and lead kitchen staff in a high-volume setting. The role emphasizes recipe adherence, safety, and efficient production.

You will hire and train staff, manage shifts, and uphold standards across inventory, quality, and customer service, with growth opportunities in a dynamic casual dining environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Preferred experience leading in a Full-Service Casual Dining or Casual Plus environment.
• Experience with scratch kitchen is a plus.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be 21+ years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to relocate is a plus.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directing and checking the progress of the prep staff and checking for food quality and consistency.
• Assisting in the hiring and training of back-of-the-house employees.
• Implementing security protocols to ensure safety of employees and guests.
• Preparing kitchen equipment and production areas daily to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Compliance with safety, sanitation standards, policies, and laws; ensuring health inspections meet standards.
• Ensuring line checks, testing, training, recipe adherence, window management, and cook times are met.
• Verifying all menu items are made to recipe and presented to Carrabba’s specifications.
• Managing staffing levels and shift assignments.
• Keeping kitchen, dish, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Checking and balancing product inventory and placing orders.
