Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting foods according to recipes and procedures. You will supervise food production, enforce safety and cleanliness, and guide staff performance to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and safety standards, and ensuring cleanliness of restaurant at all times
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Managing performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Assisting with development of key employees through feedback and coaching
• Conducting Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory safety responsibilities
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Understanding and enforcing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
• Directing work schedules and task assignments for Back of House staff
• Training Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or making recommendations to hire Back of House staff
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
