Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food in a timely, recipe-driven manner. You will lead with safety, quality, and consistency in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

This role directs BOH staff, manages costs and schedules, conducts performance reviews and coaching, and partners with leadership to train and develop key employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and ensuring restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Managing Back of House staff performance, including coaching and discipline
• Developing key employees through daily feedback and formal reviews
• Conducting Taste & Temp checks and overseeing inventory and safety procedures
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Leading shift planning, scheduling, and task assignments for Back of House
• Training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications and hiring or recommending hires for Back of House
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with company values and goals
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
