Job summary

Rapid City Golden Corral seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations, ensure recipe and quality standards, and oversee safety and cleanliness. This role coordinates food production, staffing, and adherence to company procedures to deliver a premier dining experience.

The position requires 2–3 years of management in a high-volume restaurant, a business or hospitality degree, and completion of Golden Corral’s training with CKM certification within six months; a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Two to three years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant with diversified menu offerings.
• Degree in business or hospitality or related field preferred; completion of Golden Corral’s comprehensive management training program.
• Must complete Certified Kitchen Manager certification within six months of assignment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Achieves budgeted food, labor and controllable costs through planning, scheduling and execution of standards.
• Maintains food quality and sanitation to meet health standards and PDE targets.
• Recruits, trains and develops Back-of-the-House and production staff; conducts performance appraisals and coaching as needed.
