Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensuring delicious, safe meals.

You will keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and well maintained; supervise equipment; and foster teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house staff to deliver great customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensuring the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitoring equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair.
• Ensuring safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Filling out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
