Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure food quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen, modeling teamwork and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities include cooking to order, reducing waste, and keeping equipment in good repair. The role emphasizes collaboration with back- and front-of-house teams and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to mentor Crew to become Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back- and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
